Let it Snow

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes.
This was inspired by a youtube video by Vicky at Clips n Cuts.  She used this technique to "set in" the die cut words by Penny Black.  Background is distress ink.   The snow flake stamp is also by Penny Black and is heat embossed white.  Gemstones are added to their centers.  The snowman and two kids are from a stamp by Art Impressions.    (I left the third child off as I have just two grandchildren. )   They are stamped with Memento on XPress cardstock and colored with Copics.
Wink of Stella adds glitter to the tag.   Art Impressions' package gives excellent color and shadow ideas.  The hill of snow is hand cut and popped up.

Wonder Woman

Simon Says Monday Challenge is to go back to previous challenges and choose one to make a card.
I liked the challenge of using stamps and dies.  My granddaughter said this was her favorite card!
She has a Wonder Woman costume.  I tried to represent it with this MFT stamp.  The lasso on the belt was what got the attention of my 5 year old.  Since we had just been to NYC together the NYC skyline die from MFT was perfect!    The blue background is done with distress inks.  Wonder Woman is stamped on Xpress paper with Memento ink and colored with Copics.

Dashing through the Snow

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is to make anything having to do with wrapping.  Perfect for my favorite holiday craft, gift tags!  The shaker portion of the card is made with Paper Smooches die called Retro Arrow with Bo Bunny pattern paper.    The car stamp  and sentiment are from Avery Elle.  The car is embellished with Glossy Accents, rhinestones and Stickles.   The base is cardstock from SU white embossed with Lawn Fawn snowflakes.  Car and tree are stamped with Momento on XPress and colored with Copics.

I'll Huff and I'll Puff

I made this card for both Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge and Simon Says Stamps Monster Challenge .  The pigs are from Paper Smooches Green Acres stamp set.  The houses are from Paper Smooches Bitty Bungalows stamp set.  The layers of hills are from Paper Smooches Waves dies.  The sky and grass are done with distress markers then splashed with water.  Pretty Pink Posh sequins put some sparkle in the sky.  Images are stamped in Momento and colored with Copic markers. Glossy Accents, Stickles and Wink of Stela give some shine.  The monster wolf 's sentiment is typed and die cut with a Stampin Up die.

Window of the World

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is a combination of muted fall colors.
I selected this Art Impressions stamp with it's co-ordinating die called Window of the World.
I stamped the image in VersaMark on Watercolor paper and painted the scene with distress markers mixed with water.  The pattern paper is from Basic Grey.  The sunflower embellishment is from Recollections.
At a recent stamp convention I purchased several Ai stamps that go with this window die.
Themes of birthday, Christmas, even a dog that looks like our Roxie will be fun to try!

Pink Pumpkin

October is National Breast Cancer Month.  This is for a friend who is on her way to cured!
This is for the I Love Sparkle and Shine Challenge.
Stamps are all from Paper Smooches.  They are stamped in Memento ink and colored with Copic markers.  Sentiments are stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  A couple gems make great warts and stickles give her some bling.  This goul is ready to party!

Fireplace/elves Tag

This Christmas Tag is for MFTWSC250 Sketch Challenge.
I used a Prima stencil and embossing paste  on the MFT fireplace die and the background behind the fire.  I rubbed  red Viva Decor Inka Gold over the dry embossing paste.   All other elements are MFT stamped in Memento ink and colored with Copic markers.  Stickles were used when some sparkle was needed.  Background paper is by Basic Grey.  That was fun!  I'm making more of those!

Prima Thankful

Card #2 from the Prima class mentioned above.  I kept the base of the card as taught in class then changed the rest.  I added color with Prisma watercolor pencils and distress ink painted with water.  Of course, gold had to be added with Inka-Gold and Heidi Swapp Color Shine.   The Thankful is die cut in gold shiny paper with a Penny Black die.  All other embellishments are by Prima including that very cool weaving stencil.

Fall Prima Card

On Saturday I went to Bluemoon Scrapbooking for a class streamed from Delaina Burns from Prima and taught in person by Susan Bossiere.   I added my own spin to the card with Viva Ink-Gold, gold embossed sentiment from Inkadinkado, and gold string.  (Sandy Allnock's class Go for the Gold magnified my obsession with gold.)
Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge is to use watercolor.  The flower and leaves were colored in Prisma watercolor pencils and spritzed with water.

Trick or Treat. Smell my Feet!

This really should be a video so you could see how the feet shake on the Action Wobble!
This is a really cute Artistic Impressions shaker stamp set.  On this great Me and My Big Ideas  paper it makes a great Halloween card.  The pumpkin could be eliminated and it could be a great birthday card or card for just saying hello!  The monster was stamped in Archival ink on watercolor paper.
He was then painted with Distress ink.  Stickles and Glossy Accents make him sparkle.  Background is Bazzil cardstock.  Circle is cut with a Spellbinders die.

Thankful for You

This was the shaker that just didn't know when to stop!!
It all started with this darling bunny from Simon Says/Newtons Nook Stamptember stamped in Memento and colored in Copics.  The blue background is distress ink.   The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.  Dies are from i.o.  The front panel is embossed with a folder from We R Memory Keepers.  I was thinking of my adorable little great-nephew as I made this.

Happy Halloween Golden Anniversary

Yes.  Our friends will be married 50 years on October 31st!  So Sandy Allnock's gold influence is just what I needed for this card.  This Paper Smooches witch is THE best witch stamp around!  The pumpkin is wickedly cute as well stamped with Memento and colored with Copics.  I free-handed the crescent moon window and filled it will lots of gold goodies.  Sparkle paper is from SU.
Stickles, Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents were necessities on this card.

You're A-maize-ing

Even though Sandy Allnock's Go for the Gold Class is over, I'm still all about the gold!
Simon Says Monday Challenge is Fall.  My favorite!  This Happy Harvest Lawn Fawn stamp is all I needed for creating a cute fall card.  Notice the cornstalks in back are stamped with Delicata gold.  It really shines.  The elements are stamped in Momento and colored in Copics.  Background is with distress inks.  The little pumpkins in the stamp set make great shakers!  The shaker itself is made with the Fuse It using Julie Ebersole's method.

Gold on Gold on Gold on Gold Shaker

Sandy Allnock's Go for the Gold inspired this card.  The Hero Arts Layering Christmas Tree was stamped in Delicata then Zing, then Judikins Gold Detail then Ranger Enchanted Embossing Powder.
Ovals are cut with Spellbinders dies.  Flowersoft and GOLD sequins are shaking' around in there.

Oh what fun!

More Go With the Gold with Sandy Allnock.  I loved this lesson as Sandy gave  a Copic marker
combo that looks like gold!   Check out that sled!  With a little Wink of Stella it shines metallic.
I used Dreamweaver Embossing Paste and a Simon Says Falling Snow stencil for part of the circle.
The snow hill part is just embossing paste smoothed on like icing on a cake.  The stamp, from Avery Elle, is stamped with Memento and colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment, also from Avery Elle, is stamped in Versamark and embossed in white.  Some Stickles and Glossy Accents give even more sparkle!  Papers include SU gold glitter, Ellen Hutson Craft-a-Board and XPress.  The stitched circle dies are from Die namics.  Aren't they cute???

Gold Crackled Leaves

More Go For The Gold with Sandy Allnock!
Tim Holtz Leaves were die cut from Ellen Hutson Craft-a-Board then painted with Haft-Grund and Facettern-Lack Crackling Colour both from Viva Decor.  The sentiment from Hero Arts is gold heat embossed.  The scattered dots are Liquid Pearls.

Sandy Allnock is having a fabulous 7 day series on different gold mediums.  This gift tag for my granddaughter is heat embossed with gold Wow embossing powder.  The sentiment, lights and little lamb are stamps from Lawn Fawn.  The stamp-layered tree is from Hero Arts.  I used Copics and Memento ink on the lamb.  The tree is stamped in three colors of Hero Arts ink and the final layer is done with White Diamond embossing Powder.  Snow on the card is also White Diamond.
