See those beautiful clouds? They were colored with the new Color Bursts that just came in the mail.
They are made from watercolor paper cut with MFT dies. The background is also Color Burst on watercolor paper. The cute dog, puddle and sentiment are stamps from Sunny Studio. The sentiment is silver heat embossed. The puddle and dog are stamped with Memento. The dog is colored with Cop;ics. The puddle, raindrops and dog's boots have Glossy Accents. A few beads to look like bubbles are added to the puddle. Wink of Stella makes the dog's rain hat and coat look wet.

I saw Nicol Magourik's card in the Mama Elephant release and immediately ordered this stamp set from MFT. Of course I used Color Burst for the background. It is just so bright and beautiful.
But there's more! There is Snow Cap distress paint and white heat embossing and Liquid Pears and Glossy Accents. The space bear is stamped on Xpress with memento and colored with Copic. The balloon stamp and die are from Simon Says Stamp. It's stamped with Hero Arts ink and covered with Stickles.
The watercolor paper tends to curl a bit from all of the media and water. I used strips of foam tape to hold it flat on the card front.

This beautiful card was CASEd from Stamp With AmyK. I changed the colors but not the basic layout. The layering stamp set is from Stampin Up. The ink pads are all dye ink from Memento, Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts. Cardstock is from SU and Bazzil. Wink of Stella give just the perfect sparkle to the Anna's Humminbird's head.
The Misti is the secret to using these laying stamps.
A single layer card is very rare for me. I loved creating this card!
Today I limited my Color Burst to green and yellow on watercolor paper. I smooshed the background and die cut the shamrocks from leftover background. The die and sentiment are from i.o.
The frame is from Simon Says Stamp cut from Stampin Up Black Glitter Paper.

Another experiment with Color Burst . . . this time using a background stamp from Peddler's Pack.
I silver heat embossed the stamp with VersaMark on Tim Holtz watercolor paper.
The color process was smooshing the paper onto my craft mat which had puddles of Color Burst mixed with water.
I was going to put a die cut word on the front cut from sliver. But I decided it was pretty just like it was.

30 Day Coloring Challenge
I CASED this card from Kimberly Crawford. My version, however, uses Color Burst on watercolor paper.
The sentiment and dies are all from MFT.
I used Stampin Up white glitter paper for the clouds.
The rainbow word die is also from glitter paper.
I'm not sure who makes the clear dots.
I love this card so much . . . the perfect birthday wish!
Blue and Green is my all time favorite color combo. Our first Christmas tree decorations, sofa and kitchen chairs were all blue and green!
This Judi Kins stamp has been in my collection for a very long time. I never tire of finding new ways to use it. Color Burst is spectacular!
It's heat embossed in gold. The Awesome sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
I really like this card.
I preparing for the Color Burst demo for my stamp club I am falling in love with the bright, vibrant
colors of this medium. It is fun to just drop it on then watch it burst and blend!
This butterfly stamp is from Stampendous. I dropped a few gold liquid pearls at the top.

30 Day Coloring Challenge
This is another sample card for the demo my friend, Lonnie, and I are doing on Color Burst for our stamp club.
This is my favorite so far! I put very watered-down Color Burst on an acrylic block and blew it onto the watercolor paper with canned air.
The circle die I used for the center hole and the moon shape are from MFT as is the rocket ship.
It is stamped with Memento on XPress cardstock and colored with Copics.
The silver embossed sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
The stars are embossed with Funabar Snowflake Paste on a Hero Arts Stencil.
Of course there is Wink of Stella, Stickles and Glossy Accents for even more texture.

I combined ideas from two different cards on pinterest. The pattern Paper is from K&Co.
Lawn Fawn stamps are stamped with Memento ink on XPress cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. The border is punched from a Martha Stewart punch.
I'm making several of these cards. They can be used for so many different occasions!
The more I get to KNOW these MFT GNOMES, the more I love them!
The pattern paper from Basic Grey was the inspiration for the colors used on this card.
The MFT Gnomes are stamped with Memento on XPress Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.
The mushrooms are die cuts from Spellbinders. They are colored with Copics as well. The grass is a punch from Fiskers. Background sky is Distress ink. The Hello is from MFT, the word bubble die is from Lawn Fawn.
My friend, Lonnie, and I will be giving a demo about Color Burst to our stamp club. I'm making some card samples for the demo. When I saw a Paper Smooches pin I knew it would be perfect to use with Color Burst. The color I used was fittingly called Merlot!
The glass die from Paper Smooches is cut from metallic gold paper. The Cheers die is from Simon Says Stamp. Gold sequins finish this classy card.
The metallic paper and water color paper can be tricky to adhere. I used redline tape to keep the watercolor paper flat. I used Xyron on the slick metallic paper.
It's an unusually simple card for me and I love it!

30 Day Color Challenge
This is a birthday card for a special lady who has two children.
The bears and cake are stamps from MFT. They are stamped in Memento and colored with Copics.
The balloon stamp and die are from Simon Says Stamp. I used Distress Ink and a technique taught by Jennifer McGuire to give the balloons more than one shade. They are coated in Glossy Accents. The frame and hill dies are from Lawn Fawn. They are colored with Distress ink. A little Stickles lights up the cake. Background DSP is from SU.

This is another of the new Ellen Hutson release. I could not wait to get my paint brush on this one!
Kitty Caracciolo and Jennifer McGuire have both posted great ideas for this stamp set. I combined both of the ideas plus a few of my own to come up with this card.
It is white heat embossed then painted with the distress ink lifting technique Jennifer McGuire teaches in her video. Stickles and Wink of Stella give it a fresh dewey look. The Tim Holtz die sentiment is cut from the same distress inked paper as the flower. The Swiss dot embossing folder and silver twine add to the feminine touch.

30 Day Coloring Challenge
My package from Ellen Hutson arrived yesterday and I just could not wait to try to envelope slider.
The "letter" inside the little envelope pulls up up up the full length of the giraffe!
All other dies and images are from MFT. They are stamped with Memento on XPress cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. The background paper is from my stash.

MFT has what I think may be the cutest stamp set for the Spring season . . . The Gnome Life.
He is stamped in Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. The little snail and mushroom come from the same set.
This card is loaded with dies. The fence, grass and flowers are from i.o. The fence is given a distressed look with a background stamp from i.o. and white embossing powder. The frame and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn (pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket). The clouds are from MFT and colored with Distress Ink.

I spritzed and sprayed with Ken Oliver's Color Bursts on this background of watercolor paper.
The circle is SU paper die cut with Spellbinders Circle Die. The elephant and monkey are stamps by MFT stamped with Memento and colored with Copic markers. I popped the elephant' s ear and painted its nails with white men pen. The sentiment and leaf dies are also by MFT.
Our nature club went on a behind the scenes tour of the Phoenix Zoo. This was the thank you card I sent to the vet at the zoo.
