Simon Says Monday Challenge this week is a tic-tac-toe board.  I selected the top row which was sequins, gold and stamp.
The gold is the background paper which is from a Michaels package of cards.
The stamps are from Avery Elle, Lawn Fawn and Tim Holtz.
The sentiment is stamped in VersaFine then clear embossed.
The seal sparkles with Wink of Stella to look like he's wet.
The Cupcakes are shiny from Glossy Accents.

Color Burst Heart

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes.
My addiction to Color Burst continues.  Here I let the pink and purple colors burst over a piece of water color paper.  I pop dotted the die cut Simon Says Mosaic Heart over top of the water color paper.  I also punched some hearts from the Color Burst paper for embellishment.  The hugs sentiment by Simon Says is black heat embossed.
For me the biggest challenge on this card was keeping the nice crisp white card front free teeny tiny specks of Color Burst!

Lake Scene

A dear friend who was our neighbor at "The Lake" died this week.  This is a sympathy card for his family.
One of our stamp club members taught a workshop on a technique called Northern Lights.  I am just obsessed with it!  I adapted what we learned to this card to look like a typical dusk lake scene.
The inks, palm tree and sentiment are all by Hero Arts.  The boat and skier are from a Cricut cartridge.

Sunny Smiles

I totally copied this card as it was designed and posted by Nicole Magouirk.  It was exactly what I wanted!  The sequins qualify it for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Sparkle.
The layering stamp is by Hero Arts.  The dye ink is also by Hero Arts.  The sentiment is gold heat embossed on velum.  Black Soot pain is splattered on the card.  The base is SU cardstock.

My stamp club makes cards every month for a different senior living facility.  We slide the cards under the residents' doors.  A note is placed inside but the card is left blank so they can give the card to someone else.  This sentiment is so perfect as it's happy and good for either a man or a lady.

More Copic Skin Tones

I love this Whipper Snapper stamp!  Man stamps are normally so cookie cutter . . . ties, tools, fishing etc.  This one is so much more fun!

Copic Skin Tones

I am just now having time to play a little with Sandy Allnock's Copic Jump Start Class.  Lesson Nine was about coloring skin and hair.  This was a big step for me as Sandy uses purple colors for her skin tone shadows.  PURPLE?  Yes!  It works and looks far more natural than the E tones I'd been using.
The class was worth the price of admission just for this!

Our local fire fighters gave our grandson the thrill of his little life . .. a ride in the fire truck.  This Stampendous stamp was so perfect for a thank you card.

Copic Hint

I store my practice sample with the stamp.  Next time I use it I don't have to figure out what colors to use all over again!

Copic Critter

Sandy Allnock has just one more day of her Copic Jump Start Class though it will be available for purchase for a long time.  Because of travel and visitors I haven't participated until today.
Day Six is all about Copic coloring critters.  I colored this Stamps by Judith bear and gave him a coffee cup.  He has other accessories which I'll be posting over the next months.

Fathers Day Card

This is my granddaughter's Fathers Day card for her Dad.  Priceless!

My Favorite Crafter

I haven't posted for a couple weeks.  Here's why!  My favorite crafter has been here.
Sadly she has left and my studio is more tidy.  I miss her crafty mess.
She is amazing . . . picks up new ideas and techniques before I've finished showing her.
She gives everything her own style which is fearless.
