Stamps from MFT are fussy cut and colored with Copics. The hill and grass dies are from Memory Box. The background is a technique taught in Creative Chemistry 103. The sky is inked in Distress ink. I made a stencil using Spellbinders dies which resemble clouds. I put it over the two layers of blue Distress Ink and wiped away the first layer of Distress Ink with Baby Wipes.

Tim encourages experimenting and I did. He also says to stop when you like it. I never liked it.
It was to have been a combination of a technique from Online Water Color for Carmakers and new products and techniques from Day Two of CC103. I was going for a night sky. I think the big mistake was too many colors. If I'd stuck to purples and blues maybe it would have turned out better.
But I had fun doing this while watching the Olympic Opening Ceremonies.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
In April, 2015 Julia Stanton posted this card. I am finally getting around to making it!
5 layers of the flower from Ellen Hutson are Gold Embossed on vellum and fussy cut. The leaves from Sizzix are die cut in white cardstock, covered with Versa Mark then heat embossed in gold.
The sentiment from Hero Arts is die cut in heavier cardstock. Gold twine is placed under the top layer of the flower which has Stickles for some bling. The background is woodgrain cardstock.
The card base is from a set of gold blank cards from Michaels.
