A card posted by Lorraine's Loft really caught my attention. I CASED it with some of my own changes.
This is so different than anything I have made. But I loved the sketched look to this Penny Black stamp. It needed a little color but not too much.
I thought this would be a good card to send to a friend who's beloved pet died.
The sparkle comes from using a glitter gel pen on the ribbon, scattered dots and the center of the flower. The gold bow also gives some sparkle.
Die is by spellbinders.
Stamped in Memento and colored with Copics.
We are going to a pizza party celebration later this week.
The Lawn Fawn Pizza images were so much fun to color! I added the little Mama Elephant mouse and MFT cheese.
Something was still missing . . . SU glitter paper punched confetti!

I die cut the i.o. snowflake die then backed it with cardstock completely covered with Be Creative Tape. Using my fingers and a stencil brush I brushed silver mica flakes into the adhesive until it was smooth.
The "peace" die cut it from Memory Box.
I simply love the monochromatic white of this card. It is white PearlEx on White cardstock.
The Cheery Lynn Designs With Sympathy die is cut from Stampin Up white glitter paper.
Flower and leaf stamps are from Altenew.
I wanted to try adding color to this card originally taught by Debbie Hughes. I used turquoise PearlEx on Turquoise cardstock. I also stamped a third layer on the flowers using turquoise PearEx on the third layer.
The flowers and leaves are by Altenew. The die cut sentiment is from W Plus 9.
I am going on a garden tour later this week. This is an appropriate thank you for the gardener who is hosting the tour.
These are just the first two steps to creating a card similar to Debby Hughes.
Cardstock is stamped with Versa Mark then Perfect Pearls are brushed over the Versa Mark.
The background is stamped a second time using a background word stamp and Versa Mark.
Both of the background stamps I used are from Hero Arts. I used both a white and a turquoise Perfect Pearls.
I have a Minc but I wanted to try using foil with an adhesive sheet just to see how that works.
The first try I didn't burnish the foil to the cardstock enough and missed some areas. This was my second attempt. There was only one small spot that didn't adhere. As a result I would still prefer to use my Minc.
The "hi" die is from Winnie and Walter. The stamps are from Your Next Stamp. They are stamped in Memento and colored with Copics.
Glossy Accents and Stickles are added for some Sparkle and Shine.
I love this card!

I combined ideas from a couple days of this online card class. On Day 5 Kristina Werner used Bo Bunny Glitter Paste. This was a product I didn't know about! So I bought it, tried it and love the look it gives!
The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life.
The awesome die is from Memory Box.
I used a 120# Neenah Solar White for the die cut panel to give it more stability.
Carissa Wiley gave lots of ideas to Sparkle and Shine up sentiment dies.
I especially love her demo of rainbow glitter . . . using ultra fine white glitter colored with Copic Markers. In this case I used Elizabeth Craft glitter and a Wishes die from i.o.
The background clouds were made with Oxide Distress ink and a MFT stencil.
The unicorns are from Avery Elle.
Silver heart punches are from Martha Stewart using Stampin Up glitter paper.
Spica pens and Stickles are used for more glitter.

This was inspired by Jennifer McGuire. I just used supplies I had to create her design.
I have been doing so much Copic Coloring that I really enjoyed switching to using Distress Ink resist with white heat embossing on these beautiful flowers from Mama Elephant.
The scallop dies are from Spellbinders. The Avery Elle sentiment is stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed gold.
If you zoom in you might be able to see the rain drops I created with Glossy Accents as shown by Lydia Fiedler on Day 3 of Sparkle and Shine.
Sheer Shimmer Spritz was used for the overall sparkle.

I saw this Stampingbella Susie the Succulent stamp and hit the "Buy" button. What more perfect stamp could there be for a Desert Rat like me??? (Desert Rat is the nickname for people like us who live in the desert year round as opposed to being a Snow Bird.)
I love this sentiment that comes with the stamp. Friendship does grow day by day, year by year.
I have a special friend this message especially applies to. She gets the card!
Ms. Susie was stamped in Memento and colored with Copics. She was really fun to color. There is just a tiny bit of sparkle on her shoes and the tendrils.
The frame is from Reverse Confetti. I popped the center panel and Susie.

Stephanie Klauck posted a card using this MFT Fancy Flowers stamp set that really lends itself to lots of masking.
I followed her lead but added more pink and as much gold bling as I could. I also flipped the card to horizontal and added a mat to bring out the pool color.
All flowers are stamped in Memento and colored with Copics. Gold accents include Stickles, sequins, gold embossing and Spica marker. Glossy Accents highlights the navy centers.
Sentiment is also from MFT.

This is a congratulations card for our son who has accepted a new job. ( We've had a monkey theme going on cards and gifts for a very long time.)
I designed this card so I could use the new window die from MFT. It is perfect to use with all kinds of critters so they peek out from the interactive window.
The monkeys are Clear Stamps that have been in my stash for years. They were stamped with Memento, colored with Copics, eyes popped and fussy cut. Glossy accents and Stickles highlight their teeth and eyes.
The leaves from Stampendous are white heat embossed. Color Burst was then used as a resist over the embossing.
